Self-Hosted Nightmares – WordPress and Yunohost

Considering this project had a great start, you’ll probably have noticed that oh.mg is suddenly on a different domain (yet again).

Lol, I’m going to call this project as a failure, everything is fucked – the content is triplicated, the media doubled, all the language pages are dicked to all hell, and absolutely nothing at all works. Pure shit, what an automattic fuck-up of epic standards

Because I don’t like half-assing my crazy, I’ve put this server in to production and now we pray that everything isn’t an absolute mess. But hear me out, I have reasons.

So so close, now I’m not sure of the next step here since this is a story that is 24 years in the making (and subject to extra checks by CIRA)

At the time of writing, mmn.ca is still very much in limbo and completely locked out. A lot of small changes had to happen on mmn.on.ca to hopefully appease the gods, but so far no bueno.

If you ever have a third level .ca and you want the second level .ca, just, um don’t. Pure chaos to get this done, contacts are all kinds of messy because it’s that old, and I’m not even sure CIRA are even home

We’ll see how this goes, maybe ok, maybe not ok.
